At the start of the protest, Southwestern students filed out of Korouva Milk Bar on to frat row chanting “Yes means yes, no means no. How ever we dress, where ever we go.”
The Facebook event for the groups states: “We are going to hold a peaceful protest relating to the recent events pertaining to sexual assault on Campus. These events, not limited to drink spiking, are a major concern that have not received appropriate action of appropriate magnitude, and we wish to start a movement of progress to lead to an end result that will help solve these multiple issues.
We (a) seek justice for those affected recently, (b) start action to institute policy to prevent this in the future, and (c) promote awareness and stop the process of denying that it is occurring on campus.”
